Known bugs
When an event is entered which occurs in the future, the "since" time shown is sometimes incorrect. This will be fixed in a forthcoming update.
Time Since helps you keep track of events — singular or recurring — and shows you how long it has been 'since', on the main screen.
To add a new kind of event, tap the
button on
the front screen.
You will be taken to the Edit event screen, where you can
enter a name for the event.
Hit
to go
to a screen where you can enter the date and time of the event.
On this screen you can also enter notes about the event or a
number that you would like to track.
Hit
to
return to the main screen.
To add another occurrence of the same event, tap on its name on the main screen.
To review past occurrences of the event, tap on the right side
of its row on the main screen, where the Time Since is shown.
This will take you to the History screen. Tap on any
occurrence to see its date and time and any additional notes you
have made. (When you are on the History screen, you can
also add occurrences using the
button or
edit the event's properties using
.)
To have Time Since remind you when it has been a while since something happened, you can set a reminder time on the Edit event screen. When the appropriate time has passed, the event's name will be highlighted in red on the main screen.
Time Since usually changes the unit it uses to display times based on how long it's been since an event, going from minutes to days to weeks and months and so forth. You can tell Time Since to always use a certain unit (for example, to keep track of how many days it has been since something happened) on the Edit event screen.
To export your data for backup, charting, or use in another program, tap "Export data with Mail" on the Info screen. The data will be sent to you in a tab-separated format.
How do I delete an event?
You can delete an event using the "Edit" button at the bottom of the screen. Tapping this button shows red deletion circles on each row. To delete only one occurrence of an event, use the "Edit" button on the History screen; to delete an entire kind of event, use the "Edit" button on the main screen.
(Shortcut: to delete just one event or occurrence, swipe through the row with your finger. You will be offered the opportunity to confirm whether you want to delete the row or not.)
